I've tried Astra blades and like them. I used them in a hot shower with no other products. I didn't get much irritation.

I'll try more varieties...and I still need to try Feather blades...but Derby and Astra are the ones I've liked so far.

Just tried a cold water shave today and I'm impressed with the results. This is the least amount of irritation I've gotten so far, even with putting aftershave balm and the alum block on my face. Only had to go one pass with the grain to get everything. Think I'm gonna do it like this from now on.
