I always boycotted the iPhone. In my honest opinion it started as a hipster phone and I just never understood the hype over it.

I owned Samsung Galaxy 1, 2 & 3. Then made the jump to the Note 3 and this device is just fabulous. I'm constantly discovering new tricks and it always puts a smile on my face. Next month the Note 4 will be mine!!

Although I love Samsung smartphones, that Galaxy Note edge doesnt do it for me.

That's funny, that's not my experience at all. My 4 lasted as long as any phone, but my 5 pretty much has to live on the charger. It's almost enough to make me go back to the 4, but at this point my contract with Verizon ends in November and then I will be switching to T-mobile and will presumably buy a new phone at that point (and not an IPhone).

Did you know Apple has a replacement program for faulty iPhone 5 batteries?

My phone has been on a journey so far:

I think they forgot to take it off the plane.

Why is it coming from China? Are they suppose to ship from China directly? Doesn't Apple take care of that and ship locally once the phones are in the US?

No I didn't know that. Not sure if mine is one of the phones, but that link says you have to back your phone up and pretty much wipe it for a battery replacement which seems kind of strange to me. I don't see myself bothering with it if it's that much trouble. What happened to the days when you could just open a panel in the back, take the old one out, put the new one in and you were done? I remember doing that to phones prior to the IPhone and it wasn't a huge thing like this is. I miss those days to be honest. That's another design issue in my view. And the battery didn't cost you a Franklin either.
