Not to be a Apple fanboy but they do not come out every six months. They have a new one every year and in reality every two years since Apple has been copying Intel in regards to product releases. They do a tick-tock release. So for example they will release the iPhone 5 which is a new design for the most part. Then they start working on the iPhone 6. A year later they just release a upgraded version of the original (5S). So they really release a brand new phone every two years.

Well, I was just exaggerating for effect. What I can't stand is the true Apple fanboys treating each version like it is some sort of revolution instead of just an improvement. I am a fan of Apple in general - I'm even typing this on a laptop I have had for over 5 years. Granted, the original iPhone was a game changer, but I think the competition has surpassed them by far.

Apple is about profits and in that regard, their competition can only dream of being where they are.

Who cares about tech specs? I want the money. That's why we are all on this forum, haha.

The more I use my IPhone the less I like it. The battery life is truly a joke the thing pretty much HAS to live in a charger or you have to turn off everything that makes it a smart phone in the first place to conserve it. Well why the hell have a smart phone if you can't really use it as one?

And then after I finish a call sometimes it just locks up for a minute or two and you can't do anything not even end the call while it's doing whatever it's doing. Apple's superior interface? Even my Windows OS doesn't do wacko stuff like that.

Honestly the best pure phone i ever had was the Motorola Razr. That thing just worked as a phone and worked well had excellent battery life great signal strength (MUCH better than my IPhone has) and as long as all you want is a phone I never saw anything do it better. More bells and whistles and gadgets is not always a better end result.

I'm a big fan of the note 3, so would probably vote for the note 4. I've used enough of my friends' iphones to know that iOS is never going to give me what i want from a phone. Don't mistake the note 4 for the edge. The note 4 kind of looks like the note 3 with an iphone 5 edge. it looks really nice, but i haven't looked up the specs since i plan on keeping my note 3 till it dies. I'd recommend sticking with the main Note line and not get the Edge. It does seem like a gimmick as cool as the screen is, so future support could be difficult.

My Note 3 definitely gives me a lot of joy and convenience. I find it funny when all the iphone users I know have to plug in their iphone half the work day and I just leave my apartment in the morning at 99% and come back home after work with 50% after heavy to moderate use.

Samsung phones probably aren't the best for people who don't know how or don't care to go through the trouble of customizing it. Everything on my Note3 is customized, from my launcher, to the skins used for my keyboard and texting pages. If you prefer a streamlined systems without the trouble of setting it up yourself, iphone is better. I've also heard iphones have good texting keyboard/format/whatever it's called. I can probably agree with that, samsung's default texting screen is kind of meh.

With my 4S I could have it 90% charged in the morning and when I left work it would be around 50-60%. I do not think I have ever had my phone die on me during the day.

You are lucky. The 4 and 4S had the worst battery problems of all the iPhones.
