Even so I can't really recommend Verizon. I get cut outs and crap service even in a strong area (metro Milwaukee) for their network, and I pay through the freaking nose - 138 a month for get this - unlimitied minutes and text but no unlimited data - that's more money yet if I go over so I literally can't watch Netflix or stream music on the damn thing.

Do you really want to be raped like that? Once my contract is over I'm ditching these greedy bastards for good. I've been with them since 2002 and I've just had it with getting bent by this company, the same clowns who wanted to charge us a "convenience fee" to pay them online. I read "convenience fee" as "bend you over fee". As if they weren't already making a boatload of money but it's never enough for Verizon. If Greed is Virtue these guys are somewhere up above God.

My contract is over in November and I'm literally counting down the time to be rid of Verizon. I'm tired of paying a boatload for a smartphone I still can't useas a smartphone because even though I'm paying through the nose I can't afford to use it as it was intended. What the hell is the point of having it if you really think about it - I'd be better off to get just a phone.

I just can't wait to lose these guys. Not long to go now. I gotta pay them one more month and it's over.

hahaha, my other option is ATT.

what I hate is when I`m using Pandora in my car going to one place to another and then out of a sudden my vibe is killed when the dam song is buffering- The good thing for me is that there`s WIFI at work. with Tmobile i have 5Gb of 4G internet but i don`t even get pass 2 gb a month and for minutes i dont even use 10-30 minutes.. *screen shot in a bit*

TracFone $45/month unlimited text, calls, and 3GB data. All piggybacking AT&T.

Been using it forever with all my phones. Contracts are a disease.

I switched over to Sprint recently on a plan I share with my sister and haven't had major issues so far. AT&T was alright but their data plans were kinda ehhh IMO.

I`m thinking about going with Verizon soon, I have Tmobile (contract just ended) and their service is just bad in my area. Whenever i try and send a picture through text it will take 10+ minutes or even until the next day to send from my house but when i`m in a good service area it`ll send without a problem. a few weeks ago I drove to LA for a wedding and my service on Highway 101 was bad meanwhile my uncle had service(VZ) while mine died out at random.

I`m thinking about getting two phones with them- my brother will pay half of the bill. for data i think ill only get 3 gigs making it 5 gigs since they currently have promotion ( +1 gig per line)

With respect to T-Mobile, they just announced Wifi calling (and texting) being enabled on all new phones they sell. So if you have wifi, you have coverage (in places where T-Mo's coverage is spotty). You may want to give that a try.

How does this work? I have had T-Mobile for years, and have been using WiFi for calling for years. I know the commercials say something about them using T-Mobile towers. Anyone know what exactly this means or how it is different from normal WiFi calling?

I don't know the exact technology behind it, but it means that when you are within a wifi network area, your calls and texts are sent/received over that wifi connection, relieving the cell towers of congestion. There has to be some communication with T-Mobile, though, to make sure that you in fact have T-Mobile service before your calls/texts go through.
