About LinkBacksCan someone tell me which credit cards does Costco accept? Do they accept cards other than the American Express Costco credit card? What about debit? I know many places don't take credit cards but they do accept Mastercard and Visa debit cards. I was there with my sister and was under the impression they only accept American Express. Can someone tell me if this is true and if it is true how is that legal? I thought there were antitrust laws that prevented a single credit card company from monopolizing the market?

Inside the store, they accept Amex and Costco cash cards, although many also have an ATM for cash withdrawals. You can also pay with cash and check.

Mine accepts Debit Cards backed by either Visa or Mastercard.

The Costco in Van Nuys California that I went to in the past didn't accept debit- only Amex credit cards. But yea that was a long time ago so as DGenerateKane said it sounds like they take debit now.
I don't think the Costco/American Express marriage is going to change anytime soon.
