Thread: WFNNB Victoria's Secret?

I got contacted from WFNNB Victoria's secret about my old account. I thought the account was closed and sent to collections already but I found out not yet. What are the odds of me negotiating a settlement with WFNNB Victoria's secret and getting them to not report it as a charge off. My principal when I stopped paying was $170-180 not much but I don't know how much it has gone up to now with interest charges and late fees. If I could come up with $50 or $75 would I have a chance or is that too low of an amount? I know it is low balling it but I have to come up with money for my car payments that are behind too.

@datrl79- Yes. this card is easy to get. It is the same card as EXPRESS that I have it was my first credit card when I was 18 and helped me build my credit. It is issued by WFNNB bank and they do approve applications with no credit history. Which is very uncommon for lenders these days. Depending on your credit score, line of credit with this lender starts at $150. I have had this card for 6 years not and started with a $150 credit line, today I have a $4,000 line of credit with that card. Interest is high just to let you know. And they come up with a minimum payment by caculating %5 of your balance. Which is high since other lenders calculate at %1 and %2. For example I owe them $1,000 so my minimum payment is $50.
