Department store credit cards credit score requirements

For the average department store credit card what credit score would be needed for approval and which of them have the lowest requirements?

Are you talking about department store cards that are like a Visa or Mastercard or the cards that are for use at the dept store only. B/c between those the store kind are going to (usually) have lower requirements and be easier to get.

For a lot of em the credit score requirements are going to be like in the 600s but I mean it really depends on the card bec some are gonna be easier to get then others.

Did you ever stop to ask why department store card credit requirements are low in the first place? I will tell you why. The merchandise is marked up 300%. If a quarter of cardholders walked away from the debt and the remaining paid the stores would still be making a tidy profit with the price markups. The losses are not at face value.

Which department store credit card is easiest to get and has the lowest credit score requirement? I have read many positives about the Sears basic card for rebuilding credit. Have any of you had any experiance with it?
