Default Littman Jewelers credit card, 28.99% interest for everyone?

I was going to get a Litman Jewelers credit card to buy a gift, it has a financing offer with it, then I saw the application and the APR is listed a 28.99% for the standard rate. This is a PDF of the terms and conditions https://www.accountonline.com/cards/...d=plcn_littman

I am aware retail credit cards have high interest rates and I get why giving it to someone with bad credit would be appropriate. For good credit is what gets me. Do you think that is the same for all Littman card holders no matter what or would a good credit score get a better rate?

It wouldn't surprise me. That is how all retail cards work my friend. The approval process is easier and the interest rates are higher for it. If you want to use one to save money either be 110% sure you have the ability to pay it in full before the deferred interest kicks in or don't use it at all.

Indeed it is normal for retail store credit cards to have extremely high rates. If your goal is to finance your purchase at the lowest cost possible and would like to consider alternatives to the Littman Jewelers credit card, then I would recommend you check out our sponsored listing of the best 0% credit cards for balance transfers and purchases.

    Good luck,

The reason I believe the interest rate is so high is because if it's a huge purchase they're probably gonna give you atleast a year to pay with no interest and then hope you don't pay it off and then slap on the accrued interest. It's great if you KNOW you're gonna have it paid off in time.
