It was time to take advantage of the Fry's card.

Where you can talk about store credit cards, like gas station cards, department store cards, etc.

It was time to take advantage of the Fry's card.

I only use the card for promo's. My wife called me up at work belly aching about not having a good camera to take pictures of my daughters cheerleading competitions. So after work I headed to Fry's. I bought a Canon Rebel T3i camera. 12 months no interest.

The funny part is what happened after I was about to walk out the door. The guy at the door checks my receipt and says oh sh$t! You paid for a T3 but they gave you a T5. I said so does that mean I was about to over pay or score big time? He said you were about to score. The new Canon T5 is an $1,800 Camera. I wouldn't have noticed until I got home that something's different. So they fixed it. Homeboy earned his $9 an hour that day. Wife was very happy. But for the Fry's credit card holders the promos are happening right now. Zero interest for 12 months on certain items.

How are you liking your Rebel? I am needing a new one myself but only need sometime simple. Sub $500 range, $250 would be even better because I am poor lol.

I loves Fry's I wish they had store over in my side of the world. I think the closet one is in Phoenix.
I always thought it would be the best buy that you would have in Heaven. haha

Also, Camera taking a picture of a camera?! Camera-ception!

Congrats on the new camera and the nice promo! I own a DSLR camera myself, but I'm a Nikon gal. Regardless, the camera you got is an excellent one. Be sure to take advantage of the Manual mode where YOU control everything.

@c1d1e - If you're looking for a DSLR, you won't find one for $250. If you want one sub $500, you can choose between the Canon Rebel T3 or Nikon D3100. The Sony A230L is cheap (only $380), but most people would recommend getting a Canon or Nikon for DSLRs.
AMEX BCE ($20,000), Citi Forward ($6,800), Discover IT ($5,250), BoA Travel Rewards ($1,800)
