When to pay credit card balance to avoid interest?

Postby Emmanuel140 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 10:56 am

I have an American Express Blue Sky that I want to use to pay some bills on a monthly basis, but then pay the whole thing off each month before interest charges begin. I would like to know when is a good time to pay the balance in order to avoid interest?

when the bill comes in the mail. Example let's say you receive your bill the first wedneseday of the month , the due dates is 3 weeks from this day, most people have saturday off to do there laundry , cleaning and bill paying so if you pay it on that saturday you won't ever have to worry about paying finance charges. I use the first wednesday of the month as an example your bill can come in the mail on any monday
tuesday ect just pay your bill when you pay your other bills, I pay my credit cards that saturday if the bill comes in the mail on Monday I pay it that saturday if it comes in on Friday I pay it the following day.
