Circuity City Credit Cards Now Managed By Best Buy

Postby Mogul of Pineapples » Wed Apr 01, 2009 7:02 pm

What will happen to my Circuit City credit card with the bankruptcy? Well, now you have an answer.

As most of you know Circuit City went bankrupt recently and had their liquidation sale. It was announced today that now Best Buy has taken over these credit cards. Chase who issues the Circuit City charge card has apparently worked out a deal with Best Buy for them to be used there. It was a smart move on Chase's part to not lose out on that cardmember base and instead finding a way to change them over to a different retailer.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed and linked to. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.
