Would Having A Kohl's CC Help Me?

Where you can talk about store credit cards, like gas station cards, department store cards, etc.

So again by paying my first bill off, say the same day that I receive the bill in the mail I will not pay any interest correct?

Does Kohl's report to the 3 credit agencies? Reason I am asking is bc they haven't showed up on my Credit Karma yet.
Chase Freedom - $12,500 (2/2013)
GM Card - $7,700 (7/2002)
CitiBank (Thank You Preferred) - $6,400 (6/2012)
CitiBank (Diamond Preferred) - $4,600 (6/2012)
Rogers & Hollands - $3,300 (3/2006)
Target REDcard - $3,000 (11/2014)
BestBuy - $1,600 (9/2003)
Discount Tires - $1,000 (2/2004)
Kohl's - $300 (4/2012)

My advice is DO NOT GET A KOHLS CREDIT CARD! If you miss one payment, they will issue a bad credit report to all agencies which will cripple your credit history. I made a purchase in April for $15 and forgot to make a payment. By June - less than a month after the due date - I had a bad credit report on an otherwise perfect credit history. Kohls has lost the business of my family as a result.

if you are looking to build a credit history, the risks FAR outweigh the benefits wit Kohls. Think about this carefully before you apply. If you look around n credit card review sites, you will see this is a common complaint.

I'm not sure if the Kohls card will help your credit. I got a Kohls card a few months ago (I buy stuffs there). When applying for Kohls card in the store, I was told that there will Not be a Hard pull, since its just a store card. And now I can see on my Experian credit report that it was indeed a Hard pull.
BofA Cash Rewards | CapitalOne QuickSilver | Discover More
Gold Delta AMEX | Citi DoubleCash | Citi Simplicity
Chase Freedom | Kohls Charge Card

That sounds strange. I don't know why Kohl's would tell you there would not be a hard pull to your credit report. Anytime I have ever applied for credit, there was always a hard pull of my credit report from one of the credit bureaus. The salesperson did not know what he/she was talking about.

Did you try to contact them and explain what happeend and take care of it and ask that it be removed? Better to try using honey that vinegar to start with. You may have gotten a sympathic rep who could have removed that for you.
