Since Costco previously took Amex credit cards from other issuers (like the FIA Fidelity Amex) I expect they will take any card from their chosen future network(s).

If they go with MC, I might need to figure out something new. 1% cash on Sallie Mae for a major spending category would be a bit disappointing. Costco would be a great place to do signup-bonus spending, though, since it's never a 5% category on any card (as far as I'm aware).
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

Costco is now accepting all card types at the food cafe. I don't know if this signals a shift in credit card policies at Costco

Really? I thought they did not take cards, only cash. Half the reason I would not go there after checking out was because I never carry cash with me.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

Now that it's been announced that it's Citi Visa, what do you guys think?

We have Visa (CSP and MileagePlus), which give us UR or miles. Is the cash back for the branded one really worth it? I figure that if I'm paying an AF, I might as well accrue points/miles. We may go to the "regular" level of membership anyway.

It is hard to tell without knowing if the new Costco Citi Visa card will have any bonus spend categories. What if this new card comes with 5X Thankyou Points on Costco purchases?

So far from what I've read, Costco is rebidding with other banks right now. If AMEX is not able to get another deal in place, the relationship will end sometime next year.
Main Cards:
Amex BCE
Amex Everyday
Bank of America Cash Rewards
Chase Freedom
Capital One Quicksilver
Citi Thank You Preferred

Spark Cash Back (Business), Amex Plum (Business)
