    Default good and bad

I just checked and my verizon bill which included my home phone, internet and directv are a code 4899 and my att&t cell is a 4814 code that means a total of $1428 a quarter which leaves me $570 a quarter not even $200 a month to use on restaurants this card will be maxed out very quickly.

    craigm

awsome advice will leave the verizon bill on there as well

I suggest that it is better to use Citi Forward if you have ( Now closed) for restaurants which gives 5 points (which can be 5% cash back if you use for mortgage or student loan) on fast food as well as restaurants instead of using two categories from US Cash +.

I am planning to use hotels as second category because that will allow me to cancel my other with annual fee cards. US Bank cash + will give 5% cash back on every time use which I find more attractive than my Starwood Preferred Gold which is better than most hotel cards.

Thanks. I'm thinking of switching over to Verizon FIOS. I have Verizon Wireless and apparently if you use Verizon's "One Bill" you can get $10 off a month on your FIOS bill. I was thinking of doing that but wasn't sure how that would impact the 5% back on "Cell Phone." Though if cable is included then maybe I have nothing to worry about. Anyone here use Verizon's One Bill?
AMEX: Blue Cash Preferred (6% on groceries, 3% gas & dept stores)
Capital One: Venture (2 points per $1, equivalent to 2%)
Chase: Freedom (rotating 5% categories), Disney Rewards (1 point per $1, Disney benefits)
US Bank: Cash+ (5% on bill pay, 5% fast food)

Now I have a reason to go apply for this card now. All my bills will be included under the Cell Phone category, but would first like confirmation of someone actually receiving the 5% cash back for cable and internet.

We need to figure out if that code is accepted for 5%. I guess we will know in April.

I'm not fully sure this will work. I hope it will.

My Verizon bill (only cell phone service) is MCC 4899. Time Warner Cable is coded the same. I think there is a better chance of it working than not.

Nice. I have Dish Network and ATT bundled through ATT. I'm assuming it will work for me.

I wish I had FIOS in my area. I'm sad that I don't.
