Question Why don't Amex Membership Rewards points work on Northwest Worldperks?

I have 30k Amex membership reward points I want to convert over for a ticket. The problem is I was checking out how much various tickets would cost on Delta, United, American Airlines, etc and they were all like 50k roundtrip domestic But then on the NWA Worldperks (their frequent flyer program) you can get cheap tickets for like 12.5k points each way, 25k roundtrip. But I was shocked to see I I can convert my points over to them through Amex. Why not? You can do like every other airlines besides Northwest?
