    Default Cash back ytd

I've made about $756 in rewards ytd. I would have done better if I had the citi forward and the blue cash preferred earlier in the year. That doesn't count about $160 that I haven't redemmed yet from a couple of cards. I never would have known about these types of advantages if it wasn't for this forum. Thanks to you all!

I am new to this forum but for last 3 years, I have been able to reach my target of $2500 cash rewards which also includes promotions at the time of new card sign up.

In one new sign up, I got 5% on limited initial period which I used to pay property tax of two homes I own using that card. About $18,000 total which anyway I was going pay through checking account. However, 2013 appears to be challenging so I may have to roll back to $2000 for 2013.

In addition, there was 25% bonus for any redemption for minimum $300 at a time so the cashback rate worked 6.25%

Wow just calculated mine and got around $1300. I just started maximizing my rewards through the second half of the year (when I discovered this forum - before was only using a 2% back on everything card). That figure also includes sign up bonuses and bonus cash back for synced deals through AMEX.

I'd like to say I want to double that this year, but I doubt I'll be getting any sign up bonuses this year (don't plan on applying for any more cards in the near future). But I know I'll do better.

    Thanks, you guys, for everything!
AMEX: Blue Cash Preferred (6% on groceries, 3% gas & dept stores)
Capital One: Venture (2 points per $1, equivalent to 2%)
Chase: Freedom (rotating 5% categories), Disney Rewards (1 point per $1, Disney benefits)
    US Bank: Cash+ (5% bookstores / 5% Electronic Stores)
