Default Just to show how great BCP and Gift Cards are.

In July, I redeemed my cash back and upgraded to BCP to start buying MasterCard GC's for all my monthly expenses. Here's my cash back tracker so you all can see how powerful this card it when used correctly. I average about $2800 of GC's a month.

It took me over 5 months to get to just under $400 of cash back without GC's. With them, I was able to get to just under $400 in 2 months.

The chart does not account for the gift card fees, which is about $33 a month. Even still, it is awesome! (November is flat bc the bill hasn't closed yet, it will be about $170 more!)

Here's a screen shot of the promotion my grocery store runs often. It is usually $2 of free gas for every $100 you spend at the store, but with this promotion you get $8. So when I buy $4000 of gift cards for next month, I not only get the cash back from Amex but I get $320 of free gas!

This is at PriceChopper grocery store. They are in the north east. So if you live there I suggest you take advantage!

Yep. It's pretty great. I don't know the grocery store can afford this promo. I know a lot of grocery stores exclude gift cards from their loyalty program just for this reason.

Craigm, I agree with you a bit there. Too much of a good thing is going to make it noticed. But I will say Price Chopper doesn't seem to care. They actually advertise on TV and Radio, their gift cards are the best way to do holiday shopping. Their example was $1000 in BestBuy GCs would get you $80 in gas. It has been going on for about 6 years now.
