a cruise is considered travel but as you know, when you go out to eat whether it be lunch or dinner you don't pay, that's included in your fare you just show your room key for any beverage purchases.

I would pick either the chase sapphire or capital1 venture blue level. the sapphire needs to be the preferred.

when you go to the dock they ask you for your passport, the cruise ticket and a credit card, that's the only time you need to use your card, unless when your on a excursion and your doing some shopping or you would rather eat there then on the boat. those would be only times you need a credit card. cruises are different from vacation travel.

There are many good companies but Capital One is the best for visitors. I think Venture one is best for you.
