Ford Credit Card

Now is there a Ford credit card out there too these days? I know there has to be one because everyone is issuing their own card nowadays but I don't remember ever hearing about a credit card issued by Ford? If Ford goes into bankruptcy I would hate to be a cardholder that might lose out on all their points!

There is no such thing as a Ford credit card. They use to have one briefly but stopped that years ago.

I searched this and dug up an old article from '93 from The New York Times and it sounds like Ford had a Visa credit card back then issued through Citi. This card gave rewards towards Ford vehicles but at the same time, but even before that Ford has Visa and Mastercards with the Ford blue oval logo on them issued through Associates National Bank.

But yes, now there are no Ford credit cards that exist.

Only a year ago Ford was looked upon as the one whom would fail, now it is the opposite and Ford happens to be the only one with enough credit to hold them through the next few quarters.
