Default Chase Freedom vs Citi Forward card?

I tend to go out to the movies, restaurants, and do other fun activities a lot such as shopping...between the Chase Freedom and Citi Forward card, which is the better of the two for cash back and my entertainment expenses?

Since you specifically mention movies and restaurants, I vote for the CitiForward card. Those categories are always 5 bonus ThankYou points (which, when redeemed at the $50 statement credit level, equals out to approximately 3.5% cash back), whereas the Chase Freedom card awards 5% cashback on rotating categories and through their "Ultimate Rewards" links, which may or may not line up with the retailers you patronize.

I have both cards Since both cards don't charge an annual fee

but I thought the chase ultimate rewards mall is awesome, way better than the Citi Thank you rewards
