Default Continental One Pass vs United Mileage Plus?

i've had my chase continental onepass mastercard for years. i like the rewards but since there has been this big merger of continental and united, i'm not sure if i should get the new chase united airlines visa. will my mastercard still be as useful? or would it be more beneficial to apply for the chase united airlines visa? and if i do - should i cancel the mastercard? i'm assuming it would negatively affect me since i've had that card for many years.

    any advice would be appreciated.

I think soon both will be the same right? With the merger I dont know why 2 different credit cards for each airline would continue much longer.

Neva is correct as inevitable, both will no longer be available. The latest version which was launched merges the benefits of both the Continental One Pass and the United Mileage Plus. It is called the United Mileage Plus Explorer and CreditCardForum currently is running a sponsored promotion for it.

    Good luck,
