Default non-reward credit cards still exist?

Do they still exist? In this age I don't know any major credit cards which don't offer some kind of points or rewards. It has almost became a necessity today for credit cards to offer some kind of reward incentive for people to want to use them.

I know some of the entry level cards for below average credit don't offer rewards but you're right, for the most part credit cards have become all about the rewards now.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know why. If you can get paid for your spending you might as well do it.

What we are seeing more of these days are the cards that give higher rewards for different types of spending. This is a heck of a lot better than getting only 1% which ain't diddly squat for most people.

Yeah I love rewards. I don't know to many cards which do not offer at least 1% cash back or something. Maybe when you credit is bad you may be able to get something without rewards. Anyhow Amex has the best rewards

I think the 1% has become the new standard. Even the low interest credit cards still offer 1% cashback.

Just like no one wants cards w/o rewards the next fad will be no one wanting cards with only 1% rewards. Soon everyone will begin to expect higher rewards. I guess that's a good thing for us though.
