Thread: Bank of America American Express credit card rewards?

I Have Bank of America Amex Accelerated Rewards card. When I was trying to get a cash rebate I realized it is not giving 1.25%.

We get $12.50 for 2500 points. To get 2500 points I should have spent $2000 (2500/1.25).

for spending $2000 I only get $12.50? not even 1% or am I missing something?

You have to redeem at least 25,000 points at once to get the full 1.25%

You might be able to redeem for gift cards and get the 1:1 ratio with less than 25,000 points, but you'll have to check out the redemption options yourself since I don't have that card.

In the future, look out for reward cards that give "points" instead of straight cashback, because they'll usually have schemes like this to trick you into redeeming for less than 1:1.
