Would you be better off without the Talbots credit card and using the regular loyalty rewards with a different credit card? The Talbots card application states it gives 1 point per dollar. The Talbots loyalty rewards without the credit card gives 1/2 point per dollar. Both give $25 for 500 points and by my math the credit card gives me 5% and the non-credit card gives me 2.5%. What would be better to do? Using the Talbots card or taking the 2.5% and then using it with a rewards credit card from a bank?
