Thread: Best card to pay cell phone bills/Verizon with?

I wanted to start paying my Verizon bills with a credit card. I was wondering which one would be the best CC to use for maximum rewards? Looking mostly for points or cashback. Will consider miles if it offers more.

I recently received an offer on my AmEx 3-2-1 Gold card to earn double points over the next 12 months when I payed my wireless bill with it. I had to enroll the card for this promotion (not sure when it ends as I deleted the e-mail).

American Express Simply Cash - No annual fee, 5% on wireless. I use this card myself and have my cell phone bill automatically charged to it each month. If your bill is $130 a month this will be saving you $6.50 each month or $78 annually which is a great deal.

To piggy back off the original question, I pay $69.80 a month for my cell. I'm new to rewards cards--at this monthly rate, is paying the $20 fee for the Connect pack worth it? Connect gives double points for the first $5,000 of eligible purchases of "cell phone, cable services, and broadband and internet access services" according to the website.

Wow, that is a great deal. I pay about $200 on wireless services alone and this would save me $10 month/$120 year.
