    Default Best credit card for online purchases like amazon.com and others?

    New guy here, hello all

    Was wondering what the best credit card to sign up for to use for making online purchases @ amazon or anything online that's out right (January 2011) . In terms of cashback. Or if I should wait for an killer sign-up promotion bonus that credit card companies seem to have once in awhile

    Or maybe an all-around-card that works with online and everyday life stuff. Food, gas, shopping, etc.

    For Amazon.com purchases the logical rewards choice would be their branded card.

    I do have an Amazon card myself but during the past few years I find myself using it less because the the rewards are so-so for non-Amazon spending.
