Default If you like earning rewards...

I came across an offer from Citibank to actually earn rewards for using your checking account too! I didn't even know it was possible, so I wanted to spread to word for others like me!

Quote:
Get 16,000 ThankYou® Points–redeemable for $150 in Gift Cards. Just open The Citibank Account, enroll in ThankYou Network and do qualifying activities. With an enrolled Citibank checking account you have more ways to get monthly reward points for your checking relationship, including online bill pay, direct deposit, savings, and more.

Plus we’ll triple your points
For the first year, we’ll triple the number of points you can get for your debit card purchases and for everyday banking activities linked to your checking.
Most of you CC-savvy folks probably know all about your Thank You points, but for those who don't, here are the details.

I use Bank of America for my checking and banking but I almost switched last year when Citi was offering a free Ipod for this. $150 is still good but me to switch I would need to see more in the $200 to $250 range. This is a great deal though if you looking to open up a new bank account.
