Default Credit Card for food, groceries, and restaurants only

Is there a card specifically tailored for year round rewards on food, groceries, and restaurants?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

There is no single credit card for all those categories year-round, but if you are willing to get two cards you can get 3 to 6% for many of those things.

For groceries the best choice is the Blue Cash:

For grocery stores the American Express Blue card gives up to 3% but if you get the Preferred version it gives up to 6%. For restaurants your best bet is Sapphire Preferred.

I have the AMEX Blue Cash, I use it for groceries and gas. Good rewards and awesome costumer service. The website is the best I've seen too.
