Default Overstock Credit Card Bonus Promotion

The Chase Overstock credit card allows you to earn up to 8% in Club O reward dollars on purchases made through Overstock.com. This consists of 5% in Club O reward dollars and an additional 3% for qualifying purchases. An asterisk is placed next to the "qualifying purchases" but I cannot find anywhere on their application page that describes what would be considered qualified?

My second question is that the Overstock card gives 1% on non-Overstock purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted. I have a card that gives slightly higher than that meaning if I apply for the Overstock credit card it would only be used for their purchases. What would the pros and cons be of opening a new credit account for a card I will only use one place?

Last question is about the bonus promotion for new cardmembers. The Overstock Mastercard site is offering $10 statement credit for new approved applicants. Has that amount ever been higher in the past, say $25 or $50?

    Thanks

I was not even aware there was an Overstock MasterCard until seeing your post.

I took a peek at the Overstock credit card application to try and figure out what qualifies for 3% and couldn't find the answer. They really ought to be more clear about that. Maybe try calling customer service to find out?

The pros for this card would be if you shop at Overstock.com on a monthly basis. I have never bought anything from that site making the Overstock card pointless for someone like me.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.
