Default Which Rewards Card is Right for Me?

I have had a credit card for a while now, but it is just a vanilla card with a great APR. I have very good credit, and I am looking to get another card to put my everyday purchases on and pay off every month. I am a student, so I am not a big spender. I might spend 300-400 dollars on groceries per month for two people as an example. Which card is right for me?

When you say you have had a credit card for a while, how long? That will give us a better idea of how established your credit history is.

Would you say the groceries make up the bulk of your spending?

I have had my first card for 5 years, and a second card for about 2 years. I cut up my first card when I got my second, and the balance on the second card is pretty low. I also have a couple of store cards like best buy, but they are all paid off.

I would say that groceries and stuff from target are the bulk of my spending.

I would most likely spend my rewards on international travel, so If there is a card that lets you spend your points/miles on flights like air china. Also, it would be nice to be able to partially purchase flight tickets with my points and pay the rest out of pocket if i needed to.

It sounds as if your credit is fairly good and I don't see any reason why you wouldn't qualify for the typical credit card.

For groceries there used to be several cards that gave 5% year round but those programs have since ended. There are two cards, the Discover More and Chase Freedom that still do it but only a few months out of the year. About what percentage of your spending would you say is on groceries and which percentage is on everything else?
