Introductory Offer for Delta Amex -- Can I Keep My Miles if I Product Change?

Postby Eav1277 » Tue May 20, 2014 3:10 am

I recently received the delta skymiles from my introductory offer on my delta amex. However, I am unsure if I am going to keep the card long term or attempt to do a product change. If I were to do a product change in the next month or so, is it possible I could have my introductory offer skymiles "taken away?" Or once you receive the miles are they yours for good even if you do a product change? Thanks.

I believe you must have your card for 13 months before you can do a product change. As far as getting your points taken away, I don't think they would do that as long as you follow the rules. I have never heard of it happening.
