Chase UR Mall Bonus Points

Postby Indymac » Fri Apr 04, 2014 9:06 pm

So, Lowe's is one of the categories for 5%/pts this quarter. When I log into Chase UR Mall, it list Lowe's as 5 extra pts/$. Does anyone know if these are cumulative? Would you get 10%/pts for using your Freedom and the UR Mall?

For expert level, buy Lowes gift cards through the mall with Freedom. Then, buy whatever you were going to buy through the mall and pay with gift cards. Triple stack.

Does Chase require to pay by Freedom to get the point? How come you enter through the mall and pay with gift cards?

Believe it or not, Chase does not require you to use one of their cards to get the UR mall bonus points... I have heard of many people having success using totally different cards at checkout. As long as you click through to the merchant website via the UR mall. YMMV, as some have not been credited with the bonus points for using a different card/ cards.

Please note these terms & conditions: Special increased earnings now through 6/30/2014! Not eligible on purchases made with coupon or discount codes that are not found on this site. Not eligible on gift cards, gift certificates or any other similar cash equivalents. Any return, exchange or other adjustment made at a physical store location for an on-line purchase may result in your purchase being deemed ineligible for reward.

Copied/Pasted right from the UR Mall site. Does anyone have any experience that the above statements in bold aren't always followed as stated? (Example: buying a gift card and actually getting the extra points.)

problem is even if you use your freedom/sapphire card, you sometimes dont get the points. so you have to call in to make sure you get them. this happens often enough that eventually it'll happen to you, so if you happen to go against the terms in an attempt to stack further, you end up not getting any points for that transaction.

This should not be a problem. You can buy something for $1 and $500 gift card and no issuer will know about this.

As linux stated, sometimes you don't get the bonus points, reason being the portal times out after a while and the link gets broken. What I do is, I shop everything and put it in the cart, open another tab, open up UR Mall, connect to the store website and just check out with all my stuff in the cart.
