Are those comparable?

We usually go to Chattanooga and Huntsville, Ala but some years one gets swapped. This year the Huntsville trip is moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

I pointed you in the direction but now search engines will be your friend :) Info on their sign-up bonuses and rewards program is pretty easy to find. For instance, the newest post over at Frugal Travel Guide on hotel cards is a good place to start.
Citi Forward ($10.1K), AmEx Blue Cash Everyday ($30K), Chase Freedom ($12.4K), Discover it ($5.5K), Barclaycard Arrival ($12.5K), L.L. Bean Visa ($5K). FICO 806 (TU), 812 (EQ), 806 (EX).

What's with the category 1's? I did a quick search of the Marriott site and they are all category 3-5 in Chattanooga which all work with the one free night. (Category 1-4 the first year, 1-5 each year after that)

Link to 70,000 points offer. Maybe it still works. :)

I'd look at the Ritz Carlton as well, higher annual fee - but also 70K points and you get Airline Incidentals, Status at Marriott, it's even more metal than the Marriott card, Concierge, Lounge PASS, etc.
Everyday Preferred $45K | Amex Platinum NPSL | Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve $45K | Delta Platinum $30K | Chase Sapphire Preferred $64K | Citi Hilton HHonors $45K | Discover IT $25K

That would be a great card for someone who travels allot AND stays in their hotels or partner hotels frequently. I am lucky to get on a plan once a year and only stay in hotels three or four times per year. I wouldn't be able to recoup the annual fee. For anyone that does travel allot and stays in hotels allot the card seems like a great deal. Kind of like a bit of the Amex Plat and a program card for the Ritz Carlton rolled into one but for less than Amex's $450 fee.

I ended up applying for the Marriott card since I stay in at least three hotels per year and there is always a Marriott (or a partner brand) in each of the cities I travel too. I didn't realize it until last night but I've already been staying in one of their hotels at least once a year already. Sometimes two or three times. So, recouping the annual fee won't be a problem and the 70,000 bonus points made it a no brainer. I was approved with a credit limit of $20k.
