Card automatically being converted

Postby RonJonson » Wed Nov 13, 2013 8:56 pm

I checked my rewards balance and noticed an unexpected increase. As some of you may know, the Cash Rewards cards are automatically being transitioned to Quicksilver cards. Any 50% bonus cash you had coming is being prorated and added to your rewards balances. Mine cleared yesterday so I think everyone else should have extra money or should expect it soon.

Did you get a physical Quicksilver card as a replacement, or are they just processing your Cash Rewards card as though it was a Quicksilver?

I had thought I'd received a letter saying my (Classic Platinum, maybe?) was transitioning to a Quicksilver somewhere around Nov. 4th, but I haven't actually received a new card yet. Haven't put any spend on the card to see if the rewards structure has changed.

When I called about it after receiving the letter about the change I was told that no new card would be issued. It was just changing on the back end on how the rewards are being structured and applied.
