Using Sallie Mae on Amazon?

Postby Giovanni » Thu Aug 15, 2013 1:49 am

Hey Guys. I use Citi Forward for the ~5% cashback on Amazon. I just found out about the Sallie Mae World Mastercard, is there any reason why I shouldn't apply to use this for Amazon shopping over the Citi Forward? Thanks in advance.

It's a great card. Personally, I prefer statement cashback over points to redeem for gift cards.

The Sallie Mae card is limited to 5% back on the first $750 of spend per month on books. That's $37.50 per month, or $450 per year. Not bad, but personally I'd go over the $750 limit every month. The Amazon branded chase card is 3% without limits.

Is citi forward limited?
