Priceline Visa 2% officially Dead

Postby nvtech » Wed May 29, 2013 12:00 pm

Looks like Barclays removed this offer and when I called in they hinted about changing the terms and conditions for the existing customers.
If that's the case, my experience with Barclays would be exactly like the Charles Schwab Invest Visa.

I guess Barclays Arrival card is making all this changes .

All the new applications does not have the 2% anymore.
The rep informed they are not offering the 2% card anymore. Also when I inquired about any changes to the existing customers, I was hinted about removing the 2% altogether.
Not sure how soon it would it.

Sad and disappointing, but not unexpected; I'm sure that I'll be getting a letter sometime soon advising me of the new program and the date it begins..... :beat:

With this program going away and the 10-10 program on the Freedom card on its last legs, it looks like I'll be looking for a new primary card soon....may actually end up being the Cap One 50% more cash card.

I've been rolling with my Discover Escape. I wish I had a bigger limit though. 2% on everything and easy redemption for travel purchases.

Will be on the lookout for a snail mail from them then. As soon as the changes occur, this card can go into my drawer.
