Chase 10+10 Going Away

Postby RewardHop » Thu Mar 28, 2013 2:22 am

I didn't see this being discussed but kind of old news, Chase is discontinuing their 10+10 program for existing customers already on it.

According to commenters, some people are seeing the program end on April 1st. Others (like me) have not received any notices yet from Chase so its unknown when that will go away.

The first round of letters sent to some customers has an April 1 date for the change. Remaining customers who have not yet received a letter will get one later, with a later date for the change. (According to Chase when asked by someone who has not gotten any letter yet)
This benefit was definitely good while it lasted, it was few easy bucks a month in rewards.
Amex BCE: 3% grocery, 2% gas
Bank of America Better Balance Rewards MC: $25/quarter bonus
Barclaycard Rewards Visa Signature: 2% gas, groceries, utilities
Capital One Quicksilver Visa Signature: 1.5% everything

Citi Forward Visa: 5% restaurants/fastfood, movie theaters,
Discover It: 5% rotating
SallieMae MC: 5% Groceries, Gas, Amazon
US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature: 5% electronic stores, restaurants
Sock Drawered: Chase Sapphire, Chase Amazon[/size]

They'll still be doing one of the 10's. The 10% bonus rewards are going to be credited annually now instead of every statement period. The 10 bonus points per purchase are gone.
