Lovely, maybe they'll bring back bill pay too, if they're listening to the complaints. Of course they could just mean no cap on spending eligible for rewards, not spending eligible for 5% (first $2k/qtr, then 1% thereafter).

From 1st June 2013, there is a cap of $2,000. However, this cap is not on spending but on earning. Which means, even at 5% cash back, you spending needs to exceed $40,000 or at 2% cash back, it needs to be higher than $100,000. For combination of spending between 5% and 2%, some where in between the two.

Therefore, this cap should be of worry to most people.

You mean it shouldn't be a worry, right?

I just got my $25 gift card for redeeming 100 bucks. I don't know why I'm not accruing as much cash back as other people have. I am about to pay my insurance, though.

I'm going to run a good bit of spending through this card so I can make some quick and easy cash.

Between my verizon and at&t bill I'm at $1545 a quarter that would leave me nothing for restaurants just a relief that I will be able to use the card and always get 5% at restaurants . I wonder how many people complained about the cap
