Dude, you are making it happen. I'm still on the fence about this card. I bet I will app for it when I shut down my Amex. Actually, I may app for it before I shut down my amex.

I ask mortgage payment check from Citi for $100 I accumulate from 10,000 thank you points. It does not matter whether I get to use the cash or not but it surely adds to my net worth by small amount.

How easy is it to get the check?

Earlier you could redeem for mortgage yourself on line but now it can be done only by phone. Call Customer service and inform to redeem. You give the name of the bank to the rep and their system will allow name to be added only if it is in the database.

My mortgage is from credit union and it did not have any problem so I guess their database is large enough to cover all financial institutions in US.

For those who have student loans, that also is an option to pay.

Very easy to complete the steps but it takes about 4 weeks to get the check on home address

I'm going to have checks sent to my bank then. After I get the gift cards necessary to buy a few items that I want.

omg lol. Kudos to you for achieving that much in rewards in a month. So how did you do it? Would you buy VRs in CVS stores making 2k purchases at a time? How often? I might even consider PC my current TYP to a Dividend to apply for the 5x promo. What do you plan to redeem the points for?
