Any warnings or tips regarding this card? How long did it take you to get it? I'm still waiting on mine .I have a Vanilla reload in my safe all set and ready to put on there so I can start paying some bills.

Tip #1: Don't pay bills with it.

Load the 5K max in it each month and bill pay yourself. Easy $200 (net). Then you don't have to stop your auto pays from your checking.

Not Used
Citi Simplicity - 5K, Sam's Club Discover - 10K

Future Cards
Sallie Mae World Mastercard

FICOs
Exp 772 - TU 781 - Equ 781

Are you just cashing it out via direct deposit to your checking account?

$4500 CHASE Freedom (2/13)
$3500 Citi Forward (2/13)
$2000 Discover it (2/13)
$9600 AMEX BCE (3/13)
$10000 CHASE Sapphire Preferred (7/13)

First of all, I am not doing anything with VR's (I don't have access to them). But if I were, what I said above is what I would be doing. You load the max you can and then use bill pay to send a check to yourself or someone you trust (and they give you the money back). It is not direct deposit.

Ah my bad, I had interpreted "bill pay yourself" as "pay your bills on your own" instead of "use the bill pay feature to send checks to yourself."

As I explained above, you can put 5K into it and take 5K out, with a net gain of $200. Then you don't have to worry about paying bills with it and you can pay them as you normally would.

Does anyone on this forum have the bluebird? I've been waiting for what seems like 2 weeks for it. That's way to long, in my opinion. I have 500 bucks tied up in a Vanilla reload right now. I'm not pleased.

I have paid bills with Bluebird using it like a checking account. I didn't see a need to get a check to fund my checking account and pay out of that.
