Is the only way to tell if you're still receiving 5 points per $1 on restaurants, bookstores, etc. to call? I looked online through my statements and saw the point summary per statement period, but can't tell if they are still doing 5 points for me. I have had this card for awhile.

I just got my statement today and I am NOT getting the 5x points. I called customer service and they told me there is no promotional offer linked to the card, despite the fact that I applied through the site with "5x points" obnoxiously blasted all over the page AND verbal confirmation from an applications employee that yes, the 5 points on restaurants and movies was linked to the card. I used Credit Karma's referral link to the student card.
$2500 First Hawaiian Bank (6/10)
$4500 CHASE Freedom (2/13)
$3500 Citi Forward (2/13)
$2000 Discover it (2/13)
$9600 AMEX BCE (3/13)
$10000 CHASE Sapphire Preferred (7/13)
$5000 CHASE Ink Plus (8/13)

I would call and escalate to someone. That's garbage.

Just an update, I submitted a dispute this past weekend and was told today that they are working to correct it and will be done in "1-2 billing cycles." I'm glad they listened (if this is true) but disappointed that it wasn't already functional. It won't matter for a while anyway since Freedom Q2 is dining out :)

I got this card in February and I also am not getting the 5x bonus.

Called CSR and they said the 5x promotion does not apply to the Forward card. Pointed them to their website advertising the benefits and responded with "Well you know, rewards change all the time..." and recommended sending proof to their hq in South Dakota.

We'll see if the secure message I sent has better luck.
