It is hit or miss with being able to pay with credit, but if you find a place that lets you do it, it could be rewarding. Blue Bird has bill pay and will even send out checks for free, so you could potentially pay your mortgage/rent, student loans, and car loans and get 5% cash back on it.

Lifehacker ran an article yesterday talking about this which will likely get more eyes on this than what the average bloggers are doing. Hopefully my local store will still sell them if I want them but I won't keep my hopes up.

Best bet with this is Chase Ink/Office Depot/Blue Bird. Too bad I live too far away from Office Depot.

Last I heard, Office Depot has stopped selling the Vanilla Reloads. But I could be wrong.

Also, at my grocery store, the Green Dot MoneyPaks state directly on them that they must be purchased with cash.
AMEX: Blue Cash Preferred (6% on groceries, 3% gas & dept stores)
Capital One: Venture (2 points per $1, equivalent to 2%)
Chase: Freedom (rotating 5% categories), Disney Rewards (1 point per $1, Disney benefits)
US Bank: Cash+ (5% bookstores / 5% Electronic Stores)
