On a side note, it says on their web site that Wal Mart is considered grocery. It's only 2%, but could be useful to some people.

And Amazon does NOT count for the bookstore category. Amazon Kindle purchases do.

Too see the new categories and what's included, click on "Choose Categories," enter your info, and then at the bottom of the next page it will have "What's New." Click on that and it will show you what's included in each category.

I think that I'm going to do Electronics stores. I really don't know. I don't really need any of the other categories.

Yes, everything sold on Amazon.com by Amazon or a third party. I dont think it can be used to pay for Prime Memberships though. It can be used on MP3s, Amazon Instant Video, App store, etc as well.

It says this on the back of the Kindle GCs at Best Buy as well!

Yeah, I normally pay my insurance every six months. I'm going to try to pay for a year. I will probably try to overpay my utilities also. I"m really sorry to see this category go away.

I'm going to laugh when folks start using this card less. I guess folks that don't have a dining card will use this alot. I think it is dumb to use two categories for dining. This card ranks much lower for me now. It was a top 3 card in my arsenal. Now, I have it behind the penfed platinum, citi forward, amex bcp and discover IT.

Yes, but what would you use instead for dining? Yes, having to use two different 5%s for all dining kinda sucks but I spent $7300 in total dining last year. The Citi Forward card is not an option...I'm not going to misrepresent myself to go for a student card.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

I have the Freedom, IT, Forward, Miles, and CSP. I'm going to run most of my spending through Chase cards so I can get the signup bonuses for both of them. I had the forward before it disappeared mysteriously. I'm annoyed that I have to use two categories for US Bank, so I refuse to ever use that with them. They won't be getting swipe fees from my usage!

What card has 5% cash back on dining? I have the forward card but 5 points doesn't translate to dollars 1:1.
