OHHH!! Thanks for posting that! There is still hope for me to get this card (without going to a branch). I, too, am wanting to take a shot on that one until next year. (Unless they make some major changes and its not worth getting.)

After some additional reading it sounds like everyone is getting the "7-10 days" message as US Bank is doing a manual review of every application. I'm not positive but it sounds like a new practice that may be a way of making the card more exclusive.

It does seem that 95% of of the time, it does get manually reviewed. It's been that way from the get-go. When I applied back in early July, I got the message and a business day later it was approved.
