I would always say use your own American Express card what does everybody think?

You can open a Fifelity cash account for free. No AF, no minimums, and free ACH transfers.

And you don't even need the Fidelity cash account to cash out rewards points. Fidelity Amex also uses WorldPoints. Of course, the negative of cashing out using Worldpoints is that you need to wait until you're at $250 rewards to redeem at the full 2%. If you've got a Fidelity account, you can start cashing out at $50 and still earn 2%.

I'm thinking that I might just get a Starwood Preferred Guest Amex and use that instead since if used correctly points from that can be greater than 2%. I'm not a huge fan of Amex given their low points-to-reward value for most of their cards and realistically I only use my Blue card at Costco these days, so I think it makes more sense to get a card that I can redeem away from the Amex Rewards Center.

Plus the Fidelity card seems like it has a lot of hoops to jump through in order to redeem your cash and given that I'll only be using this at Costco, it may be dozens of trips before I get any redemption

I just use my chase card on costco.com and buy cash cards. Also helps out when I need to spend $XXX to get $YYY back for ink/freedom/whatever sign up bonuses
