Can you combine Chase UR points from personal & business cards?

Postby kcarter609 » Fri Oct 05, 2012 12:43 pm

Can any of the Chase business cards (Ink and all of the other variations) UR points be combined with points from your personal cards? That'd be sweet, but I really can't find anything that says yes or no for sure.

Active Cards:
Chase Freedom 10+10 Visa Signature ($9k Limit - 8/2012)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($10k Limit - 2/2013)
Chase Ink Plus ($7k Limit - 2/2013)
Discover IT ($9.5k Limit - 10/2012)
AMEX Zync (No Pre-set Limit - 1/2010)
AMEX Blue Cash Everyday ($20k Limit - 1/2013 - Backdate to 1/2010)

Even if they can't be combined in a single account, you can transfer UR points to anyone. That should include your business.

I would say if you own the business yes. Like I guess you mean can you combine your Ink points with your sapphire?
if this is what you mean I would call both sides the 1-800 on the back of both cards and ask them this.

if you mean the Freedom I would say no because there 2 different types of cards 1's a cash back card and the other is a company card meant for business travel.

Money Card, that doesn't really make any sense. The UR points can be moved between Sapphire and Freedom, so why not with Ink too? I'm just going to call. I was just seeing if anyone here knew the answer.

Yes, UR points are easily transferred to other accounts through the website.

I think it would be great idea to call them.

first of all you realize the sapphire and Freedom are 2 different types of cards? 1's a cash back card and the other is a travel card
I thought points can't be transferred from 1 kind of card to another unless there the same type of card. For example
let's say you had 2 different American Express cards like the green and the gold, let's say you use your green for personal spending and the gold for business , if you wanted to tranfer your gold to the green that would be able to be done, or the green to the gold that would be able to be done. if you had a American express blue cash card would you be able to transfer your points to either
the clear card or the Blue travel card?

if you had Capital1's cash back card can you transfer your points to your venture card? from the Blue to the gold you can do and from the gold to the Blue you can do but what about the cash back card can you transfer those points to the Venture card?

the other thing you asked is , the Ink is a company's card so technically they own this card, now if you own a business then that's 1 thing
but if your business signed you up for the Ink card that's another can you transfer those points to the Sapphire I guess that would depend upon who owns the card. like for example let's say that Discover has a small business card , I'm not sure if they do Irvine would know until we here from Irvine let's assume Discover has a small business credit card, let's say that your company has you travel
you have the Miles card and the small business card now can you transfer your points from the Miles card to the small business?
can you transfer your Miles points to the Discover More card?

The freedom doesn't automatically credit the money back to your card. They give you UR points to use however you want. Same with the Sapphire and Ink cards. They also allow you to transfer points between them. I was just unsure with the Ink. I am the business owner, so the card/points would be mine too.

I like it. I called the customer service number and someone picked up the phone. UR points can be transferred to airline/hotel/Amtrak partners. There's a nice 50k UR bonus after spending 10k in 3 months. It's free for a year so there's plenty of time to kick the tires without a fee.
