Good luck!

Same here - call me Appbar but I applied for this card too this morning and got the same message. When I mean if declined I'll attempt to recon, will report back.

I called in my app. It wasn't approved immediately, but the rep said I probably would be approved for a card with $15k limit, and that is exactly what happened (I called back and confirmed a few days later). I should have the card in a few days. Unless you're worried about something on your credit report, you'll probably be approved, too.
American Express: Blue Cash Preferred (groceries, 6%; gas, department store, 3%); Gold Delta SkyMiles (Delta Air Lines, 2 miles/dollar, free checked bag).
US Bank: Cash+ (utilities, phone, internet, restaurant, 5%; drugstores, 2%).
FIA Card Services: Fidelity Amex (everything, 2%); Fidelity Visa (everything, 1.5%).
Chase: Freedom (rotating, 5%); Amazon (Amazon.com, 3%); PriorityClub (IHG hotels, 5 points/dollar); Sapphire (not in use).

*All cards are registered with PriorityClub IDine program for 8 points/dollar at participating restaurants.

Congratulations that's a great limit.

I don't have anything to worry about on my reports nothing bad, but there are plenty of inquiries and a couple of new accounts and US Bank is uber prime so they may not like that I've been told.

I just googled reviews on this card and one I found suggested that the universe of categories available for 5% cashback changes every quarter, i.e., not all of the categories are available every quarter; they rotate in availability.

Then I saw a review on another website where someone said they called US Bank and confirmed that all of the categories will be available for 5% every quarter.

So I guess we'll have to see which is right. Until I know for sure, I'm going to hold off on switching my auto bill payments to Cash+.

Hummm mutually exclusive things there, I'm curious to see too, if I get the card that is. Hopefully the main ones are available every quarter and they have some others that rotate but I could accept either way.

Got the Cash+ card today. Set up online access, auto bill pay from checking, account alerts, selected rewards categories (groceries, car rental, utility/phone/internet/insurance bills) for this quarter. Contacted my autobillers and switched to Cash+ from Fidelity Amex.

US Bank website is very cumbersome for setting up alerts; you have to view the disclosure statement for every single alert that you activate. However, I was able to select my autobill debit date online (with other cards I've had to call for this).

It looks as if the full slate of reward categories will be available every quarter; the literature that accompanys the card says you can choose the same categories every quarter if you wish. I was worried that some categories might not be available every quarter (see above).

Assuming the card works as I've been led to believe, my regular rewards categories will be groceries, bills, and restaurants. I didn't choose restaurants this quarter because I'm getting 5% from Chase. I'll be renting a car next month, so I chose that instead.

Man, that sounds like an awesome rewards structure. If they pull from TU I might actually stand a chance within the next month or so -- anything but Equifax with my thousand inquiries lol.

I applied for this card too, on July 1st. Got the 7-10 day message- still waiting. They actually pulled Experian for me which thank god has the least amount of inquiries. I live right outside of Atlantic City, New Jersey if geography makes a difference.

This will be my last app till November or December because I have quite a few newer accounts since April. The rewards structure sounds unbeatable so I really hope for an approval.

Have you tried calling the app status number? By now they should have a decision for you. That number is 1-800-947-1444 just give a call and you should find out. Hopefully you'll recon if declined, nothing to lose by trying.
