Converting Ultimate Rewards points to JetBlue TrueBlue?

Postby papelet » Sun Mar 11, 2012 9:43 pm

Hello everyone, so I may have the most ridiculous question of the day if not the month.

I have a decent amount of American Express Membership Rewards points and even though I don't have my Sapphire Preferred yet, I'm more than sure I'll put those 3k on it within the first 2 weeks, so that will make it about 53k U.R. points.

Is there a way, maybe through a common partner program, to convert Chase Ultimate Rewards to JetBlue TrueBlue or Membership Reward Points to to United/Continental?

I'm more interested in converting Ultimate Rewards since United/Cont is too expensive in my area.

I know, I know, I should have checked the UR partners before applying for Sapphire Preferred, but being honest, at that moment, I didn't care what rewards program it came with. I just saw a ***y card loaded with points lol.

BTW I'm not interested in selling my points.

Thanks!

No because 1 is Chase and the other is American Express.Just like you can't transfer Marriott points to a Sheraton program because they are different companies. American Express is different from Chase.

Thanks Money Card, I don't mean directly because is impossible.

Ok let me put it this way:

Is there like a secret partner of both, Chase and AMEX, you can transfer UR and MR into their rewards program and then transfer to another partner of the one mentioned before?
Maybe a hotel rewards program or a brand new airline that just came out lol? if that makes any sense.

Thanks again Money Card!
