I have noticed a handful of credit cards offer home improvement rewards or cash back these days and given the amount of money you spend in a purchase (buying an appliance, getting supplies for a home remodeling project and what not) I would suspect this suspect this category may be even more lucrative than drugstores and other obscure places where few Americans spend thousands annually like they might at a place like Home Depot or Lowe's if they are a homeowner.
Tell me if there are any choices here I should add on to my list of possibilities.
- Chase Freedom with its 5% on up to $1,500 on home improvement for one quarter per year.
- Discover It with 5% on up to ____? for one quarter per year.
- Home Depot card with no rewards
- Lowes card but there are none in my area and for that reason I am not considering it.
Am I missing out on any other home improvement credit card offers with rewards?
