Ha, with books, I guess I'm old fashioned. I want the physical book, with pages to turn and all. It's the only significant exception to my otherwise digitally dominated life.

I should probably wait until BCE starts reporting, though. Then Barclays will see my highest limit as $6k, not $2k.

On the other hand, maybe the recent opening of BCE would concern Barclays, even if there's no TU pull.

How is Barclays on auto CLIs?

I will be getting some more books on Amazon...

Looking at all the books I expect to buy in the next few months, I went ahead and applied. The application requires further review, so no instant decision in 30 seconds like they said was possible.

Give them a call, they're really good with recons. The reps are very app conservative, but you have very little. Good luck! Bad news, though, gotta wait until Monday, they're closed weekends.

To avoid having two fairly different topics competing in one thread, I am moving any updates on my Sallie Mae application to: http://creditcardforum.com/visa-mastercard/10502-sallie-mae-barclays-5-pending.html

Coco's daddy wrote:I frequent a few merchants who only accept MasterCard. My favorite reward is cash back credited to my account on a monthly basis - I never carry a balance. The last few years, I have enjoyed the Sunoco Platinum MasterCard, which offered 4% cash back on Sunoco gas and 1% cash back everywhere else, but Citi recently canceled this credit card program.

What's the best MasterCard cash back rewards program going these days?
